We had a wonderful time at Ballina. A Mini holiday is what all the family needed, we stayed with friends of our in a HUGE apartment....it had a beautiful view, amazing!! We staying at the Grandview Apartments 3rd balcony on the left is where we stayed. The 7 of us had soooo much space in there, enough for the kids to run about and play. And another bonus of this place was the pool for the kids to swim in, every day out there swimming and geez they slept well those nights wish we could have one at our own place. We played some
card games and learnt some new one's. DS#1 has an amazing nack of being very good at card games and won 2 rounds of poker with 4 stunned adults that lost each time. So off to bed he went lol....just not right that we kept loosing to an 8 yr old. Off went a very happy 8yr old, bragging to all us loser's about his winning's he had in front of him. Lucky we were playing with real money or would have lost quite a bit of cash that night. He is like this with Uno Attack also, very quick learner when it come's to learning a card game....amazing!!

<------Here he is with all his winning's cheeky boy! Felt a little dreadful that the other families little man wasn't well at all as was his mummy. Both had the flu, but to get away from the day to day chore's is a nice change and a bit of fresh air in the lungs would be nice also. While at Ballina we also visited the Macadamia Castle
and played for the first time (amazing never played it before lol) Putt Putt Golf with the boys, that was great fun....thought the rain put a bit of a dampner on the whole morning, when we first got there it started pouring. But in the end turned out being a lovely day out and the pancakes there was YUMMY.... Here are are boys in front of the knight they had at the castle, it was huge. And the boys held a rabbit....it was so cute they really liked holding the rabbit's, kept telling us they were soooooo soft and cuddly. I would love to have a rabbit but up here in QLD we are just not allowed to have them. Oh well no loss....
I was very naughty and took all my scrapbooking goodies and did some scrapping while there. Completed my online class I purchased from EMM. It looks great will have to take some photographs of the one's I have done. Yeah I know I can do scrapbooking while at home, but lovely to do some and get more inspiration whilst out....
